WhatsApp star to be picked by Red FM

India’s 93.5 Red FM is the first radio station in Mumbai to introduce WhatsApp to connect with its listeners.

The station is also giving fans a chance to go beyond generic interaction on the popular mobile messaging app.

They can be a ‘WhatsApp Star’ by singing a line of their favourite song.

Listeners have to get in touch with Red FM Mumbai and those with the best auditions will be featured live on the station.

Station RJs are also visiting several youth hangouts to encourage people to participate.
