Singapore’s UFM 100.3 is the official radio partner for a walkathon organised by the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) to raise funds for the work training and operations of APSN Centre for Adults.

The event, to be held on September 19 at the Singapore Sports Hub, will attempt to break the Guinness World Record of holding the Largest Lantern Parade.

Over 10,000 participants are expected to carry lanterns, made by the APSN beneficiaries, during the 1.4km walkathon. 

Minister Tan Chuan Jin will be the Guest-of–Honour and will flag off the walkathon, alongside UFM100.3 DJs.

Besides the main event, there will also be a carnival with performances by APSN students and local artistes.
