Three jocks from MediaCorp radio stations have been nominated across different categories for this year’s Star Awards, a platform to affirm and recognize the contributions of performing and production talents in Singapore.

987 FM DJ Justin Ang, who is a first time nominee, and Love 97.2 FM DJ Dennis Chew have been nominated under the Male category.

Under the Female category, Y.E.S. 93.3 FM DJ Lin Pei Fen has been nominated.

The award show is in its 20th year and has been branded ‘Star Awards 20’.

To be telecast in two parts, the first part of the show will be broadcast live from the MediaCorp TV Theatre on April 20, acknowledging the people behind this year’s best productions.

It will be hosted by veterans Zhou Ru Zhu, Samuel Chong, Zhang Wei and Chen Shu Cheng, alongside Dasmond Koh, Vivian Lai, Pornsak and Lee Teng.

The second part of the show will be hosted by Guo Liang and Quan Yi Fong and telecast live from Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 27.
