The Mo Show brings Saudi stories to The Podcast Show

Mo Islam, host of the widely acclaimed Saudi English podcast The Mo Show, is set to appear at The Podcast Show 2025 in London, 21-22 May at the Islington Business Design Centre – a pioneering industry event shaping the future of podcasting worldwide. Mo’s presence marks a key moment for the Kingdom’s growing influence in the global audio space.

With over half of Saudi Arabia’s population under the age of 35 – and highly media-savvy – the demand for authentic, personal storytelling is accelerating at remarkable speed. The Mo Show podcast series offers deep, humanising insights into Saudi life and transformation, bridging
cultural divides through thoughtful, bilingual conversations with Saudi changemakers.

Mo Islam isn’t a performer – he’s a guide. A listener-first host who makes his guests shine by holding space, not stealing it. That’s what makes him not just a podcast host but a storyteller of the new Saudi Arabia. “This isn’t just about Saudi stories,” says Mo, “it’s about universal
conversations through a Saudi lens; a podcast format born to bridge perspectives, and I’m honoured to bring that spirit to The Podcast Show stage in London.”

The Podcast Show continues to lead the industry forward, and Mo’s participation reflects the global relevance of voices emerging from Saudi Arabia.

“Mo represents a new wave of Saudi voices reshaping the narrative through podcasting, and I’m honoured to help amplify these stories – especially at an event that’s defining the future of audio,” says Darryl von Däniken, who will moderate the session. Darryl is the founder of the IRF Group and serves as an advisor to the Saudi Media Forum curating its international speaker programme.
