talkRADIO, part of the Wireless Group, has secured the exclusive UK broadcast of Jerry Springer’s podcast.

Listeners across the UK will be able to tune into the show every Saturday at midnight and the content will be tailored exclusively for the station’s UK audience.

The podcast, which was launched in 2015, has only been available online till now.

The announcement was made by Springer himself, who joined talkRADIO for an interview with another of the station’s presenters, Eamonn Holmes.

The podcast is a weekly show which covers a wide range of topics from politics to folk music.

Featuring lifelong friend Jene Galvin and radio colleague Megan Hils, the show is recorded weekly at the Folk School Coffee House in Kentucky.

Springer says: “Very excited to be part of talkRADIO and being their partner in expanding the reach of my podcast to Great Britain. This should be a lot of fun.”

Dennie Morris, Managing Editor of talkRADIO, said: “talkRADIO never shies away from controversy and opinion, and I’m delighted that we’re already attracting global talent like Jerry Springer. There is a huge appetite for American politics over here in the UK and this will only get stronger in the build up to the US election in November.”
