Malaysian station Suria FM is giving away cash prizes of up to RM 30,000 ($7767) through its Lagu Berduit Suria contest.

Suria is a Star Media Radio Group station and targets listeners between 25 and 34.

The contest, which is on till May 5, requires listeners to identify local radio hits from a brief audio clip.

It will take place anytime during these segments: Suria Pagi (5am to 10am), Gaya Suria (10am to 1pm), Waroong Suria (1pm to 4pm) and Suria Petang (4pm to 8pm).

As soon as the clip is played out, the first person to call and identify the title of the song and its singer will win RM250 ($64).

If the caller gets it wrong, the money will snowball into the next segment and so on.

Listeners can also win RM100 ($25) in cash by joining the Jangan Panik contest on Suria Pagi. When they hear the cue, they have to be the fastest caller and answer four questions correctly within 10 seconds.
