Student wins Mediacorp’s ‘The Sound Makers’

As a part of Mediacorp Radio’s 80th birthday celebrations, its Chinese radio stations – YES 933, LOVE 97.2FM and CAPITAL 95.8FM held the finale of ‘The Sound Makers’ contest last Saturday.

The contest offered the winner a chance to be the next DJ for the top three radio stations in Singapore

Its auditions saw nearly 300 participants battling it out before 11 finalists were selected form them.

After many rounds of challenges, 19-year old Zhu Ze Liang walked away with $10,000 cash and a DJ contract with Mediacorp.
