SPH stations collaborate for Chinese New Year campaign

Singapore’s Chinese stations are set to usher in the Year of the Ox with a special social media campaign.

SPH Radio's Chinese stations, UFM100.3 and 96.3 Hao FM, along with Zaobao.sg, Lianhe Zaobao, Lianhe Wanbao and Shin Min Daily News have collaborated with Malaysia's Sin Chew Daily on a social media campaign titled “Wish I could come home for CNY”.

The campaign, which was launched on 6 Jan, invited members of the public who are separated from their loved ones to share their thoughts on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #好想回家过个年. Three contributors were selected at the end of the campaign on 27 Jan to deliver care packs of their choice to their loved ones in Malaysia. In return, their families were also given the opportunity to send them packages from Malaysia.
Catch the three-episode docu-series jointly produced by SPH CMG NewsHub and Sin Chew Daily on zaobao.sg from 10 Feb, to hear about the contributors' stories and how they connected with their loved ones despite being apart.
