Several top Indonesian musicians joined Gen FM’s Fun Walk through the streets of Jakarta to mark Car Free Day.

Held on March 9, the walk also coincided with the country’s National Music Day.

Singers Anji, Alika and Mario together with bands Karnatra, Astoria, The Overtunes helped raise awareness about local music and vehicle pollution.

According to our reporter in Jakarta, several roads were closed from 6-11am allowing the fun walk to take place.

Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia Mari Elka conducted the opening ceremony.

Listeners who turned up were entertained by Gen fm DJs Anka, Leo, Veve, TJ, Rozy, Patra and Joey.
