Singapore media company SAFRA Radio has changed its name to So Drama! Entertainment.

The company runs two radio stations – 88.3 Jia FM and Power 98 FM along with Music and Drama Company and PIONEER.

Jia FM is the only bilingual station in Singapore that plays both Mandarin and English all-time favorites round the clock. It caters to the changing lifestyle of Singaporeans who are increasingly conversant in both languages.

Re-launched in 2007, 88.3 Jia FM has since built a strong and loyal following with the 25 to 44-year-olds.

Power 98 FM is a 24-hour English station in Singapore, providing Top 40, Adult Contemporary, Pop and Rock music along with the latest entertainment news and sports updates.

The station underwent its first major revamp in 18 years in March 2012, when it changed its slogan from ‘Hit Music and More’ to ‘Hear The Difference’, overhauled its website and launched a new line-up of DJs and programmes.

According to the company, it chose the name “So Drama!” because it’s a quintessentially Singaporean phrase that describes something which moves and amuses you.
