RTHK’s charity fundraising heads to Stanley beach

Santa Claus – or at least a sandy image of him – appeared at Hong Kong’s Stanley Beach on Sunday.

Public broadcaster RTHK took its Operation Santa Claus charity fundraising to the coast for a day.

Several corporate teams squared off against some of the territory’s up and coming singers, actresses and actors including Kellie Jackie and Lung Siu-kwan.

Beach games arranged by the stations’ DJs included Tug of War, Rafting and Wrap and Rush.

The overall winner on the day was Win Hang Bank, followed by Toys ‘R’ us and Sino Group.

The money raised on the day will go towards the overall Operation Santa Claus total, which will be announced in the next few weeks.
