RJ launches Indian PM’s initiative in Goa

India’s 92.7 BIG FM launched the ‘Swachh Bharat’ (Clean India) initiative in the state of Goa with its RJ Prince Jacob on November 19.

The campaign, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet project, was launched in the presence of

the state’s Governor, Mridula Sinha, Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza, Sanman Kenkre – Station Head and Mahesh Kumbhar – Programming Head, BIG FM Goa.

More than 200 people, 150 students and station staff were also present for the shoe their support for the cleanliness drive.

Jacob was nominated by the Governor herself to launch the campaign in the picturesque state which is reeling under a massive garbage problem.

Other station RJs Namrata, Aaryan and Uday also contributed to the drive.

‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign was launched by the Prime Minister on the occasion of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi’s 145th birthday on October 2.
