RED LiVE organises ‘Asli Rockstars’

India’s 93.5 Red FM organised ‘Asli Rockstars’ – a concert featuring popular Bollywood playback singers Atif Aslam and Mohit Chauhan in Delhi on Sunday.

The initiative, which was a part of the station’s ‘Red LiVE’ property, brought together the two artists together for the first time.

‘Red LiVE’ was launched in 2012 and has organised successful concerts with entertainers like Yo Yo Honey Singh, Mika and Kapil Sharma.

Aslam played a mix of rock and pop hits including ‘Jeene Laga Hoon’, ‘Kuch is Tarah’ and ‘Tera Hone Laga Hoon’.

Chauhan – who is one of the most awarded Indian pop and Bollywood singers – performed some of his most popular numbers like ‘Dooba Dooba’, ‘Pee Loon’ and ‘Masakli’.

Commenting on this association, Nisha Narayanan, COO, 93.5 RED FM said: With more than 15,000 fans in one arena, both Atif and Mohit ensured that they take the audience in their stride and give a power-packed performance with their popular songs.

Speaking about his performance Mohit Chauhan said: “I am overwhelmed with the audience’s response. Atif and I have a good chemistry singing together for the first time on Indian soil.”

Atif Aslam commented: “The enthusiasm that the audience displayed built the momentum and made the show more exciting.”
