Red FM and Radio Mirchi shine at Excellence in Radio Awards

Red FM, Radio Mirchi and Big FM have dominated the Indian Excellence in Radio Awards (ERA) 2017.

The winners were announced at the end of the annual India Radio Forum 2017 in Delhi on Friday.

The Awards, which celebrate the best of Indian radio, had four categories- Programming, Talent, Promotion and Marketing & Advertising.

Red FM, along with its sister station Suryan FM, won 23 awards, including Network of the Year.

It was followed by Radio Mirchi with 16 awards and Big FM, which grabbed 15 metals including RJ of the Year (Hindi) for RJ Annu Kapoor’s retro show ‘Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor’.

Radio City was third with 12 awards, including the Best Breakfast Programme (Hindi) for its show ‘Suno Na DIlli’ in Delhi.
