RAM Week 8: Big FM and Radio City neck-to-neck in Bangalore

According to the latest RAM data for subscribers in the four Indian metros for Week 8 from February 15 to 21, Big FM caught up with Radio City at the top spot in Bangalore but slipped back to the second place in Mumbai.

Both Big FM and Radio City had a market share of 22.8 percent in Bangalore, though City had the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) of 10.14.

Radio Mirchi continued to be in the third place with 17.2 percent and Fever was a distant fourth with 11.7 percent share.

In Mumbai, the competition for the top spot continues between Big FM and Radio City as City climbed back up to the top spot with 19 percent market share.

After being at the top last week, Big FM slipped to the second spot with 18.4 percent share.

Fever and Radio Mirchi maintained their third and fourth spots with 13.2 and 13.1 percent share respectively.

In Kolkata, Mirchi continued to be a clear leader with 20 percent share, followed by Big FM with 15.9 percent.

Oye! FM was third with 10.5 percent, followed very closely by local station Aamar FM and Radio One, which tied for the fourth spot with 10 percent share.

In Delhi, Fever maintained its lead over others with 18.6 percent share and the highest TSL of 5.04.

Radio Mirchi, which was at the fourth spot last week, gained 0.7 percent to take the second place with 13 percent share.

Big FM was third with 12.1 percent and Radio City was fourth with 11.6 percent share.
