RAM Week 18: Stations consolidate positions

According to the latest RAM data for subscribers in the four Indian metros for Week 18 from April 26 to May 2, stations’ positions have not moved much from the previous week.

Radio City continues to lead in Mumbai with a market share of 18.7 percent, followed by Big FM with 17.8 percent.

Fever, although at number three with 13.4 percent share, continued to have the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) of 6.44.

Radio Mirchi was fourth with 13 percent share while Red FM was fifth with 11.2 percent.

In Delhi, Fever continued to be wide ahead of the competition with 18.2 percent share of listeners, but lost 0.9 percent share since previous week.

It was followed by Radio Mirchi with 13.8 percent – a gain of 0.5 percent – while Radio City climbed one position to be third with 12.5 percent and Big FM was a close fourth with 12.3 percent share.

In Kolkata, Mirchi increased its lead with 19.2 percent share – up by 0.5 percent since the previous week, followed by Big FM with 14.9 percent share.

Fever was third with 12.8 percent share and the highest TSL of 5.08 with 10.6 percent and Oye! FM was fourth with 10.7 percent.

In Bangalore, Radio City further consolidated its lead with 23.5 percent share, a rise of 0.5 percent from previous week. It also had the highest TSL of 9.26.

It was followed by Big FM with 20.3 percent and Radio Mirchi with 17.3 percent. Fever was fourth with 13 percent.
