RAM Week 14: Radio City leads in Mumbai

 

According to the latest RAM data for subscribers in the four Indian metros for Week 14 from March 29 to April 4, Mumbai remains one of the most competitive markets for Radio City and Big FM as both take turns to outdo each other for the top spot.

Radio City, which was second last week, climbed to the top position with 18.6 percent market share and Big FM slid to the second spot with 18.3 percent, though it had the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) of 6.19.

It was status quo for the next two positions as Radio Mirchi stayed third with 13.6 percent share and Fever continued to be fourth with 13.3 percent share.

In Delhi, Fever continued to be a clear leader with a market share of 19 percent and a TSL of 5.2.

Radio Mirchi was second with 13.9 percent share and Radio City climbed up one spot from the previous week to take the third position with 12 percent share.

Big FM dropped a position to take the fourth spot with 11.6 percent share and Red Fm was fifth with 10.3 percent.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi remained unchallenged at the top with 20.5 percent share, far ahead of Big FM which was second with 15.4 percent.

Oye! FM was third with 9.9 percent , Radio One was fourth with 9.8 percent and local station Aamar FM was fifth with 9.6 percent share.

In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its top spot with 21.9 percent share, closely followed by Big FM with 21.7 percent.

Radio Mirchi was third with 18 percent and Fever was fourth with 12 percent share.
