Radio City partners Mumbai Indians for IPL 9

 

Indian network Radio City’s Mumbai station has joined hands with Mumbai Indians, the defending champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), for the cricket tournament’s ninth season.

IPL starts from April 9 and Mumbai Indians, owned by billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani, is one of the favourites in the competition.

This is the fifth year in a row that Radio City will be the official sponsor of the team.

The station has planned various on air contests across shows which will offer a few lucky winners a chance to win exclusive Mumbai Indian merchandise and tickets of the matches.

All the RJs of Radio City would cheer for the team.

Commenting on the partnership, Abraham Thomas, CEO, Radio City 91.1FM says: “Radio City runs through the veins of Mumbai City. This is our city and our team and we are most passionate with our association with Mumbai Indians.”
