Radio City launches ‘Joke Studio’ in Delhi

Indian network Radio City 91.1 FM has launched a comedy based show called ‘Joke Studio’ on its Delhi station.

According to the station, research shows that comedy has been a key driver for markets in northern India and keeping this in mind, it launched the show with a line-up of well-known comedians.

Joke Studio will air from Monday to Friday at 11am and will feature artistes Sunil Pal, Amit, Maheep, Jeeveshu, Sanket and the station’s long-running feature Babbar Sher.

A 3-hour long best-of-week segment will be aired on Saturdays, hosted by RJ Divya.

“We have always associated with, and felt the pride that people feel in the finer nuances of belonging to their city, just like humour runs through the veins of Delhi city. It is keeping this in mind that we embarked on a brand campaign that defines localised content like Joke Studio – our effort to give the people what they would like to hear”, said Abraham Thomas, CEO, Radio City 91.1FM.
