Radio City Freedom Awards return for third edition

India’s Radio City 91.1 FM is back with the 3rd edition its Freedom Awards – a platform to recognize and reward independent music artists across genres and languages. 

The awards are open to entries from Indian artists across the globe in 11 categories.

These include Best Hip-Hop Rap Artist, Best Folk Fusion Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Rock, Best Metal, Best Electronica Artist, Best Video, Best Album Art, Best Young Indie Artist/Band, Best Indie Collaboration of the year and Indie Genius- Person of the year.

This theme for this year’s awards is ‘Music and Beyond’ which will showcase spoken word artists in a special segment in the grand finale.

Shortlisted entries will be judged by a panel of judges including Luke KennyAtul Churamani, Yotam Agam and Nandini Srikar

The winners will be felicitated on the award night in Mumbai at the end of February featuring performances by leading indie musicians.
