The station is currently reapplying for its FM license along with scores of community radio stations have been off air since a military coup in May.

When the army took over, it forced numerous radio and TV stations off air for being illegal broadcasters or having political affiliations.

Several English language stations say they have been caught in the fray.

Last year, Pattaya 105 was bought over by a regional publisher well-known for the‘Pattaya Trader’ magazine.

The station brands itself ‘Pattaya’s No.1 Hit Music Station’ and plays international hits along with local and national news updates.
