A part of the Reliance Broadcast Network, 92.7 BIG FM brought home six awards at the New York Festivals (NYF) Radio Awards 2014, becoming the biggest Indian winner.

It won laurels in the ‘Public Service Announcement Promotion’ category for its entry ‘Pani bachao, Dariya DIlli’ to save water, ‘Sports Promotion’ category for the entry ‘Sachin Anthem’ and ‘Community Service’ category for its community initiatives.

The network’s campaign for a eco-friendly festival celebrating the Goddess Durga called ‘BIG Green Durga Puja Campaign’ won in the ‘Green Promotion’ category.

It’s ‘Mumbai Retro Thematics’ won in the ‘Station Promotion’ category, while another entry from its Mumbai station, ‘Breakfast show with Siddarth’ won in the ‘Best Music Special’ category.
