Astro Radio has been appointed by Radio Today, Bangladeshi radio and digital audio content provider, as its exclusive local representative for BONDHU, the first-ever 24-hour digital radio app for the Bangladeshi community in Malaysia.
BONDHU which means ‘friend’, serves Bangladeshis in Malaysia with music as well as specially curated Bengali content and the latest, most relevant news and updates from Malaysia and Bangladesh, delivered by BONDHU announcers.
Users of the BONDHU app will be able to enjoy localised entertainment on the daily segments ‘Morning Vibes’, ‘Afternoon Café’, ‘BONDHU Adda’ (gossip with friends) and ‘Raat Voor Gaan’ (back-to-back songs), a wide range of music including top hits, movie soundtracks, patriotic songs, religious songs and more; the latest promotions from both local and international brands in Malaysia; health tips; weather updates; the latest movie news; and variety of other topics.
Users can enjoy engagement during ‘BONDHU Adda’ segment from 7pm to 12am daily, which will also offer users real-time ‘Facebook Live’ interaction with BONDHU’s announcers, friends and community.
The app can be downloaded for free via Google Play or the App Store.
