The Breakfast Show jock from India’s 94.3 MY FM, RJ Teena, was nominated for ‘Radio Personaily of the Year’ at the 10th annual AIB awards last week.
Organised by the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB), the awards showcase global factual content for radio, TV and online.
RJ Teena hosts ‘Salaam Indore’ for the DB Corp owned 17-station network station in Indore.
She was the only Indian nominee in the category.
Other nominees included Catherine Bott and David Mellor of Classic FM and Shaimaa Khalil of BBC World Service, who was the winner.
This year’s AIB Awards featured entries from over 30 countries and covered 18 categories.
The nominees were evaluated by an international panel of 50 judges from the broadcast industry.
