MY FM India ‘heroes’ awards return for third year

India’s 94.3 MY FM has announced the third edition of its ‘Jiyo Dil Se Awards’ to honour unsung heroes across the seven states where it broadcasts.

The awards pay tribute to those who have made a positive contribution to the society and cover nine different categories.

The categories include Education, Environment Conservation, Health & Sanitation, Public Service, Art & Culture, Sports, Women Welfare & Empowerment, Child Care & Development and Social Economic Development.

Entries will be judged on parameters like innovation, impact, scalability, sustainability of the initiative and the challenges faced while executing it.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from  and submitted at MY FM offices in the 17 cities where it broadcasts.

Harrish Bhatia, CEO, MY FM, said: “The response we got in the earlier seasons was very encouraging and some really unique stories came forth. This year as well we have set out to look for these unique stories from the common man.”

Viplove Gupte, National Programming Head, MY FM added: “In the last 2 editions, we found people who are doing extraordinary work for the betterment of society. Their achievements are exemplary, their work is pathbreaking, their dedication is worthy of admiring.”
