India’s 20-station network Radio City 91.1 FM plans to mark Mother’s Day on Sunday with various on-air activities. 

Through the day, listeners can share stories on how their mothers doubled up as heroes for them with the ‘City ki Super Mom’ contest.

The station is also inviting listeners to share thoughts and experiences on how their mothers resemble a of the Bollywood personality from a famous film.

The contest will also run on a special microsite www.planetradiocity.com/supermom where listeners can upload a video or a picture about the bond they share with their mom.

The picture with the maximum number of ‘likes’ will win prizes from the station.

They can also sending audio messages on WhatsApp which will be played in a special show called ‘Dedication Top 10’.

Kartik Kalla, National Programming Head, Radio City 91.1 FM said: “Mothers are those individuals who rarely get the appreciation they deserve for the selfless efforts they put in for making our lives simpler. Through our special initiatives we are honoring mothers from all walks of life.”
