Mediacorp Singapore collaborated with the final Formula 1 race in Malaysia to feature the Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) 2017 Prelude as the after-race concert on Sunday.
Headlining the F1NALE Concert were Dato’ Rossa and Anji from Indonesia, up and rising stars Aisyah Aziz and Harris Baba (Singapore), Ayda Jebat and Hael Husaini (Malaysia). The concert was hosted by Mediacorp Ria 89.7FM radio personality, Dzar Ismail and Malaysian host and TV personality, Daphne Iking.
APM, the region’s popular Malay music awards show, will host its 16th edition this year on October 14. Organised by Mediacorp Suria, Warna 94.2FM and Ria 89.7FM, the sold-out awards show will be telecast ‘live’ in three countries – Mediacorp Suria (Singapore), Astro Ria (Malaysia), Ria HD (Malaysia) and Jak tv (Indonesia) for 2.5 hours.
It will be hosted by Dzar Ismail (Singapore), Nabila Huda (Malaysia) and Desta (Indonesia).
The event will feature performances by Aisyah Aziz, Sufi Rashid and Haikal Ali from Singapore; Ayda Jebat and Hael Husaini from Malaysia; and Afgan, Isyana Sarasvati, Gloria Jessica and Virgoun from Indonesia besides special appearances by Malaysian rock legend Ella and international artist Maher Zain.
