MediaCorp announces Singapore’s jury representation to Cannes Lions 2015

MediaCorp, the official country representative of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015, has announced ten judges from Singapore who will be part of the esteemed jury at this year’s event.

Singapore will be represented in nine jury categories – Radio , Creative Effectiveness, Cyber, Design, Direct, Outdoor, Press, Product Design and Promo.

As the Singapore representative of Cannes Lions, MediaCorp promotes the Festival to the local advertising community, nominates outstanding advertising personalities for the jury,  runs competitions for young talents and organises winners exhibitions.

Lee Hanyi, Chief Creative Officer of The Secret Little Agency is going to be a part of the Radio jury.

He is a part of a diverse line-up of 309 senior industry professionals from 44 countries in 2015 who will judge over 35,000 ads from all over the world at the Festival.

Singapore is one of the top performers within Asia at Cannes Lions every year.

“Enormous consideration is given to who will judge,” said Philip Thomas, Lions Festivals CEO. “We seek out those who’ve distinguished themselves over the course of a career in creativity – people recognised for their professional achievements, but equally valued for their vision, admired for their passion and trusted for their integrity.”

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity will take place from June 21 to 27.
