Mando and Canto-pop artists set for Singapore Hit Awards

Hong Kong’s Julian Cheung  and Taiwan’s Alien Huan are set to amaze at the Singapore Hit Awards, organised by MediaCorp’s Y.E.S. 93.3FM.

The pair will be among 30 artists from across Asia to attend the ceremony at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on November 22.

The awards will be watched and heard by Mandopop supporters in more than 20 cities around the world.

Other artists confirmed include Hong Kong’s Denise Ho; Taiwan’s Wilber Pan, Chou Hui, Bai Ann, William Wei Magic Power; China’s Hu Xia and Malaysia’s Penny Tai.

Singaporean acts Joi Chua, Olivia Ong, Derrick Hoh, Serene Koong, The Freshmen, MICappella, Bevlyn Khoo, Ruth Kueo and Xiaohan will also be there.

Taiwanese artiste Wilber Pan, together with a group of six Taiwanese dancers, will kick-start the evening, having promised organisers that the opening act will be tailored to the awards night.

Hong Kong artiste Julian Cheung, fresh from his role in the Hong Kong drama, “Triumph in the Skies II” will appear for the very first time at the ceremony.

The award-winning Cantopop artiste, Denise Ho, will also be making her Hit Awards debut this year.
