As India’s general election draws near, All India Radio is to vie with the country’s dozens of TV news channels for premier coverage, reports The Economic Times.
The public radio broadcaster linked up four regional stations for live phone-ins during the December 8 assembly elections and now wants to follow a similar format for the national vote on May 31.
