Singapore’s Kiss 92 crammed 168 people into a car showroom on Saturday for its latest giveaway.

The finalists had been picked from more than 17,000 entries for a chance to win an Opel GTC 1.4 Turbo.

In order to qualify, fans had to pass a test of speed and knowledge which involved waiting for a cue to answer a question which appeared on the Kiss 92 mobile app.

The number of finalists was reduced further at the showroom until just 20 people were holding keys to the car and a chance to try to open the drivers’ door of the car.

The winner was 42-year-old Ricky Ho who said: “I am still in shock and I did not expect my first prize from Kiss92 to be a car!”

Programme Director and morning show host Maddy Barber said: “It is great to be able to reward our fans for their support to the station.”
