While others pay millions to get celebrity endorsements, RJ Jo of BIG FM Hyderabad got her celebrity friends to appoint her as the new host of the station’s evening drive time show for free.

During her seven years in broadcasting, RJ Jo has built a great rapport with celebrities from the Telugu film industry – also known as Tollywood.

As the former host of BIG FM’s midday show (11-2pm), RJ Jo started talking on-air for a week about her desire to take her career to the next level.

This was followed by a bunch of local celebs like film star Manchu Manoj, TV artist Bharani, singer Kausalya, actors Sunil and Nitin, music director Anoop Rubens and actor Sai Dharam Tej also going on the airwaves and backing her bid to become the fulltime of the evening drivetime show.

Finally, at a press conference, Manchu Manoj officially announced her appointment as the official host for ‘Full Volume’ – which airs from 5pm to 9pm.

Commenting on this new role, RJ Jo said: “I thank Manchu Manoj , all my industry friends and my listeners for their support.”
