The eighth International Radio Festival (IRF) has unveiled its slate of speakers.

The festival, which was held in Zurich for seven editions, will now take place in Milan for the first time from April 7 to 10.

It will be the world’s largest on-air and public radio event welcoming over 30’000 visitors and 500+ music radio professionals.

It will also feature radio stations from across the world who will be invited to showcase their formats and productions and broadcast them live on-air to their listeners back home.

The line-up of speakers includes Tony Prince, founder of Disco Mix Club and DJ magazine Mixmag, who is also a veteran of pirate radio in the 60s with Radio Caroline; Herbert Visser, founder and CEO of Radio 10NL in the Netherlands; Ed Hooper, co-founder of social media app Omny Studio; Dan Jones, founder of Hoxton FM Web-radio; and Rusty Hodge, founder of SOMA FM Internet radio platform.
According to the organisers, the IRF is a boutique music radio content conference and B2B Forum, the first of its kind produced for the music radio industry.
