As India celebrated 70 years of Independence on Tuesday, international music station Indigo 91.9 played an A Capella rendition of the country’s National Anthem.

Curated by some of the finest musicians in the city, the version was played on-air and its video was also shared on the station's social media handles.

The station also paid tributes to the armed forces, thanking them for their service to the nation.

Indigo Bangalore also celebrated brands that have contributed in shaping brand India.

Legends behind these brands, like Dr. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon, Narayana Murthy of Infosys, Ashish Hemrajani Bookmyshow.com, OML’s Vijay Nair, MTR’s Vikram Maiya and Narayan Rao from the iconic ice cream brand Corner House, were part of the exclusive series.

These industry leaders shared their journey, mantra, goals and aspirations with the audience.
