The station will be the first radio network from Kerala and the fifth Malayalam FM station in the UAE.

The stations says its programming will closely resemble the format followed back home in Kerala.

Commenting on the expansion, Ravi Nair, Director – Programmes, Radio Mango told exchange4media: “Our main strength will be our deep understanding of the Malayalee audience, coupled with our strong presence in their homeland. We are offering a vastly differentiated content from what is currently available here and have an extremely competent team to deliver it.”
