India RAM Week 21: Close competition for top spot in Mumbai

According to the latest RAM report for the four Indian metros for the week of May 15 to 21, Big FM managed to hang on to its lead in Mumbai by a very small margin.

It lost 1.1 percent share of listeners since previous week, getting 15.8 percent share this time.

It was followed very closely by Radio City with 15.7 percent, down from 16.4 percent since last week.

Radio Mirchi stayed at the third place with 14 percent, losing 0.7 percent since previous week.

Fever stayed fourth with 12.5 percent share, up by 0.7 percent from last week, and continued to have the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) of 6.16.

In Delhi, Fever continued to be ahead with 18.6 percent share of listeners – down by 0.3 percent since last week, and the highest TSL of 5.02.

Radio Mirchi was second with 13.1 percent share and Radio City was third with 12 percent share.

HT Media’s recently launched station Radio Nasha was fourth with 11 percent share.

In Kolkata, Mirchi retained its lead with 19.7 percent share of listeners and Big FM was second with 16 percent – same as last week.

Fever was third with 15 percent share and the highest TSL of 5.35 while Oye FM was fourth with 10.8 percent.

In Bangalore, City stayed in the lead with a share of 22.5 percent, and the highest TSL of 10.02.

Big FM was at the second spot with 18.7 percent and Radio Mirchi was third with 17.4 percent share of listeners.

Fever was fourth with 15.1 percent share.
