iM4U fm’s Do It Your Style Finale

Malaysian youth station iM4U fm is all set for the finale of its annual competition ‘Do It Your Style’, popularly known as DIY Style.

This singing competition lets local artists experiment with their musical prowess in different genres and switch-ups.

The competition, which started in March, saw the participation of 20 local singers performing their rendition of songs from different artistes like Resh, Jonathan Tse, Diandra Arjunaidi, Elizabeth Tan and Bil Musa.

Listeners had the chance to listen to their performance live on iM4U fm and voted for their top 5 finalists.

They chose Aisyah Aziz, Lea Ismail, Diandra Arjunaidi, Bil Musa and Eyza Bahra to the finale, where they compete with each other for their share of $3068 (RM 12,000) on Saturday.

The money will be donated to the homes of their choice.

“DIY Style,a competition that showcases our local talents performing rendition of songs from different artistes,is in its second year and we are honoured with the support extended by our listeners and participating artistes,” says Kartini Ariffin, iM4U fm Director.

“There is a twist in this year’s DIY Style. We have paired the participating artistes with disabled individuals who are musically gifted. Our aim is topromote our local talents and individuals who are musically gifted, despite their disability,” she adds.
