The award ceremony of the 2025 Global Media Peace Awards (GMPA) will take place online on Thursday, 5 February 2026.
The second edition of GMPA was launched by the Executive Education of HEC Montréal, in collaboration with Pale Bleu Dot Foundation – Japan, as an attempt to encourage and support peace-building efforts across the globe.
GMPA invited radio and television broadcasters, digital media experts and citizens, public and private, to demonstrate their abilities to prevent conflict and to resolve conflict by sharing their local, regional, and international stories in “conflict prevention and resolution”.
It received over 200 Radio, Television and Digital Media stories from around the world that have been watched, assessed and judged by thirty – two high-level international media professionals.

Colleen Holder, Dir. Corp. Comms. & Productions, Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago
Nguyen Thuy Hoa, Director, International Cooperation Department, The Voice of Vietnam
Yasser Garrana, Advisor to ASBU Director General on Radio Affairs and former Head of ASBU Radio, Arab States Broadcasting Union
François Xavier Thiaw, Director of Radio RTS, Senegal
Wang Xinyue, General Manager Assistant & Head of Overseas Audio Video Team, Sichuan Guancha, Sichuan Radio and Television, China
There will be three cash awards across Radio, Television and Digital Media. First prize is C$5000, second prize is C$2500 and the third is of C$1500.
