Flash mob turns up at Sirasa three-wheeler carnival

A flash mob of dancers was one of the highlights of a three-wheeler carnival held by Sri Lanka’s Sirasa FM last Saturday.

The third edition of the event was organised by the station for the benefit of three-wheeler drivers and their children in Western Province.

The carnival in Battaramulla featured a race, as well as competitions to choose the most attractive three-wheeler, best singer and Mr. Handsome.

The drivers also joined the dancers from popular reality TV dance show Sirasa Dancing Star as a part of a flash mob.

Voice tests for the station’s early morning show ‘Samanala Sirasa’ were also held at the event along with music from its popular segment Dahasak Mal.

Sirasa FM was the first 24-hour Sinhala channel to launch in Sri Lanka in 1994 and it broadcasts on 106.5 FM and 106.7 FM.
