Saturday night was Era FM’s turn to rock the crowd in the Malaysian state of Sabah to celebrate its third anniversary broadcasting to the region.

The Malaysian language station hosted “Konsert ERA Sayang Sabah with Biozip” in front of thousands of fans at the 1Borneo shopping mall in Kota Kinabalu.

Indonesian signer Judika headlined the concert, which was dominated by Malaysian acts including DJ Fuzz, W.A.R.I.S, Altimet, Mark Adam and Candy.

Speaking ahead of the gig, Syazleey Zalsyam Zakaria – also known as Uno – Astro Radio’s Operation Manager in Sabah said: “We are proud to once again the Konsert ERA Sayang Sabah (Era Loves Sabah). Our listeners can look forward to a different feel as we enlighten the stage with diverse genres of music performed by well-known artistes in the country and abroad.”

“Konsert ERA Sayang Sabah” is organised to mark our 3rd year anniversary. We want to express our gratitude to all ERA fm’s listeners, partners, advertisers and media in Sabah for their ongoing support,” he added.

ERA fm announcer’s Jayjay, Ily, Beebey, Christ and Aril also performed on stage for fans after giving away tickets to the gig in the lead-up to the event.

Many listeners won passes to a special Rock Zone, to get up close and personal with their favourite acts.

The “Konsert ERA Sayang Sabah” was sponsored by the detergent Biozip.
