Dennis Chew lone radio winner at Star Awards 2014

Star Awards 2014 – a platform to recognise the contributions of performing and production talent – took place Sunday night at Suntec City Convention Centre in Singapore.

Out of three MediaCorp DJs who were nominated across categories, Dennis Chew from Love 97.2FM was the only radio personality to win an award.

He clinched the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste award together with nine other MediaCorp artistes which included Elvin Ng, Qi Yuwu, Pornsak and Desmond Tan.

This was the fifth time Chew has taken home the award since 2010.

An elated Dennis said: “I am very happy to be nominated and to win the award. Thank you to all my Love 97.2FM listeners because I truly wouldn’t have achieved this without their support and voting.”
