Mediacorp Singapore’s English station CNA938 is launching a special two-month programming starting Monday, September 28, called “Climate Crisis: Climate Challenge”.

Since August, CNA has also enhanced its coverage on climate change by launching a dedicated section on its website cna.asia, and app, at cna.asia/climatechange, where news reports, analyses and other developments can be found housed at one location.

Here are the programmes the station is offering for a better understanding on the impact of climate change, and also get to win some prizes.

Climate Challenge & Your Climate Solutions – Monday 8.45am

Every Monday morning on Asia First, an environmental expert will talk about the challenges facing Singapore and the world. Listeners are invited to send in their Climate Solutions where the best one will be unveiled on Friday each week winning a $200 shopping voucher. Check out cna.asia/cna938climate for details.

Climate Quiz – Mondays to Fridays, Asia First from 7am

The Climate Quiz gives the opportunity for listeners to win a $50 shopping voucher by just answering a simple quiz question. Happens on weekdays. Check out cna.asia/cna938climate for details.

Climate Future – Tuesday 5.45pm, Wednesday 8.45am (highlights)

Each week, a local youth group will be invited to share their thoughts and plans on how they are tackling climate change.

Climate Q&A – Wednesday 5pm

Every Wednesday evening, there will be a weekly discussion topic that revolves around a common theme. Listeners can get tips on how to choose the most energy-efficient devices, how to put food compost to use, how smart home technology can help to minimize energy consumption and many others.

Climate Conversations – Thursday 12.10pm

It will feature highlights of CNA Digital weekly podcast series where industry experts share their insights.
