Class 95’s 9500 handshakes for charity

Singapore’s Class 95FM DJs are taking to the streets to shake 9500 hands for their adopted charity – ARC Children’s Centre.

Popular on-air personalities Glenn Ong, Joe Augustin, Mike Kasem, Jean Danker, Yasminne Cheng, Jeremy Ratnam and Bobby Tonelli will be shaking hands with listeners at select locations.

More than 1000 people turned up for the first part of the event held last Wednesday.

The rest of the events will take place every Wednesday and Saturday up to 17 May.

Listeners can make a donation of a dollar and more to take home a different surprise each week.

“We are excited to spread as much love as we can as we embark on this handshaking journey. Doing this for our adopted charity makes it even more special and meaningful,” said Ms Margaret Mary Lim, Assistant Programme Director for Class 95FM.
