Big FM’s talent hunt goes global

Indian Network 92.7 Big FM is taking the third season of its singing talent hunt show ‘Big Golden Voice India’ overseas.

Singing enthusiasts from across the world can now showcase their singing talent along with their Indian counterparts to win the contest.

The station is inviting auditions from across 37 socio cultural regions, with people from across the country singing in their preferred dialect to capture the flavour of their region.

Winners from each competing region will make it to the top 12 and will be assigned gurus that nurture them in a two-day workshop.

These 12 finalists will then compete with the finalists from overseas to take home the title of ‘Big Golden Voice’.

The grand finale winner will get a break in Bollywood alongside music maestro and face of the initiative, Shankar Mahadevan, who will also judge the event.

Entries to the hunt open on July 3.

Speaking on this association, Shankar Mahadevan said: “It is amazing that India has such vast talent and initiatives like Big Golden Voice bring out the raw singing talent from the nook and corner of the country.”

Speaking of the launch, Ashwin Padmanabhan, Executive VP and National Business Head, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited stated: “With this, we look forward to not only unravel local talent but also discover international potential. Our associations with advertisers too will garner international exposure for them to communicate with their consumers overseas effectively.”
