India’s 92.7 Big FM is celebrating the birth anniversary of legendary Bollywood music director R.D Burman, who was fondly known as Pancham, with a month-long ode to him.

‘Yaadon Mein Pancham’, in its third year, will revisit his vast repertoire of evergreen classics    throughout June on its popular mid-morning show ‘Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor’.

A number of well-know musicians and his contemporaries will also reminisce how he has been an inspiration and motivation for them.

The daily afternoon time band will be dedicated to sharing more exclusive stories with listeners, and the evening time band will render listeners with unplugged versions of his compositions. 

Musicians and artists such as Javed Akhtar, Gulzar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Pyaarelal, Anu Malik, Shaan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Jubin Nautiyal and Lalit Pandit  will be a part of the month-long tribute building up to his birth anniversary on 27th June.
