BIG FM Bhajan show set for Diwali launch

India’s 92.7 Big FM is set to launch a special early morning bhajan (devotional music) show around the festival of Diwali.

‘Seher’ (dawn) will be hosted by famous bhajan maestro Anup Jalota and air on the 45-station network from 5 am to 7 am.

Jalota will sign in to the show with a shloka (verse) from Indian scriptures and a positive thought for that day.

He will follow it with a bhajan performance and narrate the story behind it.

Listeners will be able to call Jalota and even request for a particular bhajan.

Jalota will also share one good habit for the day to feel good, positive and motivated.

Ashwin Padmanabhan, National Business Head, 92.7 BIG FM said: “Mental  health is as important as physical health and that is what we are trying to convey to our audiences out there. Moreover, with Diwali fast approaching, we decided it’s time to give our listeners, young and old, something positive and life-changing this New Year.”
