BES Expo 2025 concludes at New Delhi

The Broadcast Engineering Society (India) hosted the 29th edition of BES EXPO 2025, India’s largest international exhibition and conference on broadcast and media technology, from July 3 to 5, 2025, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

This year, the theme for the expo was ‘Transforming the Media Landscape through AI: Create, Collaborate, Monetize’.

It brought together industry leaders, technology innovators, broadcasters, regulators, and media professionals from across India and around the world to explore cutting-edge technology developments in broadcast, digital media, AI integration, and immersive technologies including content development.

Organized with the support of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, the expo featured:

  • Over 5,000 national and international delegates and speakers
  • Live technology demonstrations in Direct to Mobile (D2M) broadcasting, digital radio, virtual studios, IPTV, OTT, AI tools, remote productions, and 5G applications including content development.
  • A multi-track conference program focusing on D2M, OTT, other emerging technologies, media convergence, regulatory frameworks, emerging role of AI in news and monetization strategies.

Prasar Bharati Chairman Navneet Kumar Sehgal inaugurated the expo. In his address, he said that digital infrastructure in the country has grown manifold in the last ten years. The onset of new technologies in communication and broadcasting has brought convergence, digitisation and democratisation of content.

Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi said that broadcasting media landscape is changing rapidly. Now people have reached a stage where it is possible not only to globalise the content but also hyper-personalise and hyper-localise it.
