Bandung station enrolling for radio school

Indonesia’s 99ers Radio is enrolling new students for its Radio School which begins classes once again this month.

The Bandung City youth station created the school to meet public demand from those who had always dreamed of working in radio.

Students get to experience a real life radio atmosphere while they’re in ‘the school’, which runs classes from 2-4pm and from 5-8pm.

They get to choose which division and job they think they’ll fit best, including Script Writer, Producer, Creative Team, Sales and even on air Announcer.

99ers Radio has even fitted out studios with similar equipment to its real life station and has trainers on hand to guide the students at all times.

The faculty includes many of the stations top DJs.

Students have to be at least 15 years old or just graduated from Junior High School.
