Radiodays GM, Peter Niegel, welcomed the delegates highlighting the importance of audio saying “Audio today is stronger than ever in reach and in importance, and in the past year it has again risen to the challenge through the pandemic, and especially in the past few months with this terrible conflict in the Ukraine.”

With the conferences theme of Audio Today, Audio Tomorrow he says “…we want to highlight the importance to remain diligent, curious and competitive in the development of radio, and at the same time have an eye on the audio formats of tomorrow.

“With all its interest and possibilities, we have to both linear and on-demand, both analogue and digital, to be attracting younger audiences as well as the ones we have, to learn from new technologies while at the same time embracing the future radio plays in everyone’s lives.”
