Asia Pop 40 now on Chinese station ‘Dubai Dragon’

 

Dubai Dragon, the UAE's only Chinese Radio station is now airing the weekly chart countdown radio show Asia Pop 40, produced by EON Media Group Singapore.

A part of the Arabian Radio Network, Dubai Dragon is a dedicated 24-hour station that serves the 174,000 Chinese population in the UAE.

Each week Asia Pop 40 counts down the most popular streams on QQ Music in China, playing across the UAE on the Dubai Dragon app and streaming.

The Mandarin version of Asia Pop 40 is hosted by Malaysian-born actor, singer-songwriter and radio celebrity Max Lim. Lim has built a career on Australian and Malaysian Chinese radio, presenting various chart shows, hosting numerous events, acting on Malaysian television as well as writing and releasing his own singles.

The show, which airs on Dubai Dragon every Saturday afternoon from 3 pm, is tailored to Chinese music tastes, focusing more on Asian artists than international music.
